New Chairman of the Board
February 21, 2024 Stålrör is changing chairman of the board and the owners would like to thank Magnus Grönborg for his fine efforts and extend a warm welcome to Stålrör's new board chairman.Dearest Magnus,
It is with a crying and a laughing eye that we say goodbye to you here.
Of course, we understand that the company you are tasked with leading requires your complete focus. At the same time, we - not just the undersigned but also the entire management team and all Stalror employees - have come to appreciate and treasure you as our Chairman so much that it has become very difficult to say goodbye.
In all your years as Chairman of our board, you have contributed significantly, at the forefront and with great success to the further development and increase in value of our Stalror AB and we will not forget that.
Your competence and wealth of experience, your confident, calm and level-headed way of grasping, analyzing and reflecting on matters, as well as your leadership in board meetings commanded respect, were always constructive, and always appealing and stimulating on a human level.
It is also important to mention that you were extremely pleasant to deal with; exchanging ideas with you always filled everyone you spoke to with joy - for all of us it was pure quality of life.
Our laughing eye comes from the fact that we shall remain in contact with you and continue to consider you as a Stalror family member, even if currently in no official capacity.
Accordingly, we are already looking forward to the next opportunity where you may not formally open and lead a board meeting, but where we will share a toast to whatever in an informal atmosphere, and we will cultivate our contact and exchange with you in a different but by no means less attractive setting and framework.
Magnus, thank you for everything!

Dear Christian,
We haven't known each other for a very long time yet, but our previous contacts with you already made it clear to us how lucky we are to welcome you as our new Chairman.
Your thoughts, based on many years of experience and presented with a lot of competence and skill, particularly on the strategic further development of our Stalror, have impressed and captivated us completely.
Accordingly, we look forward to your contribution to the expansion of our now over sixty-year-old group of companies, which has been owned by the same family since its founding.
There is no question that the present and certainly future times will include geopolitical challenges, but it is in the Stalror DNA to welcome and enjoy challenges and to meet them with one's head held high, as well as to emerge from them stronger.
